If I buy a used Verizon Blackberry can I use it on the Alltel network?

I read somewhere about since it's an SDMA phone that the software can be downloaded? Is that wrong?

Give it your best shot, but I doubt you will get very far with most of us reps haha.. We cannot guarantee that anything works on a NON-ALLTEL phone.

Best thing to do is follow the directions in the thread "Storm working on Alltel" or whatever it was...

pretty sure the area her service is in got switched to verizon already... so I think I'm safe...
