Tethering Question

I have a question and I am not sure how to word it but can someone tell me how to Tether my 8830 ? ( its all Greek to me )

It's easy. In Windows set up a new dial up conection. The number to dial is #777 and the username is (yournumber)@alltel.net and the password is "alltel". Make sure you tell it to use com4 and not the actuall dial-up modem. You'll also need to open up Desktop Manager before you attempt to connect.

I am a Mac user , I would think it can't be to much different

I doubt it, just set up a dial up connection. The number to dial is #777 and the username and password are in my previous post. I'm not that familar with Macs (I have several iPods though) but just make sure it's looking to COM4 or the USB port for dialing and not the modem itself. Also, before you dial up, connect your BB and open Desktop Manager, which will load the drivers needed to connect.
