Default Strange Issue with Data Service

I have a strange problem and was wondering if anyone could help me out.

I am currently with Alltel, and I have noticed something strange. If I am on the phone for more than 10 minutes, when I hang up, it takes about 15 minutes for me to be able to use my data services. I receive no emails, and I cannot browse on the internet using the Blackberry browser.

However, if I use Opera, it works just fine. Is there something wrong with my phone or is this normal?

Thanks!

That is kind of weird. I had a similar issue at one point I believe, but I never noticed it later. Try updating your OS to the current version from blackberry.com

Hi..I am also on Alltel and I own a Blackberry Curve 8330 and I don't experience this problem but I do notice that at some point during the day..I have to do a battery pull just to check my emails without having to wait forever for the hourglass to stop spinning.Once I do that..I have no problem with things opening up slowly for the rest of the day.

I've had the exact same problem with my 8330... it got so bad that as soon as I hung up from a call it would drop to no coverage for anywhere from a few minutes to several hours. Eventually the radio just died altogether... will not connect to anything, even if I'm sitting directly under a tower.

Mine does that occasionally, but nothing like 15 minutes. Maybe a minute or two. If it ever is being sticky, I just shut my phone off and turn it back on.

Kaylajoy, we use the same solution for that problem. A quick restart usually resolves this issue. +1
