Storm running on Alltel and a question ....

I followed the steps on here and my Storm is running on Alltel and I love it.

Thanks a ton to all who had input for the step by step manual to get it going.

Now, my question.

I upgraded my OS to 5.0.0.191 and I really like some of the new features, but I noticed instead of the 1XEV I now have 3G and four little dots that look like part of the Blackberry logo.

So ... is that really a faster speed than the 1XEV, or am I still on 1XEV and it just displayed differently for me now?

Yeah -- 1XEV is 3G.

You are still on 1XEV...they are just moving to calling that 3G since no one seems to know that 1XEV = 3G
