I'm going to apologize now for this post this is my first one here, and I'm not entirely sure where I should post. So I got my Storm 2 today and did all the garbage required to send and receive calls and text on Alltel. Then I did the *22801 and I keep getting Verizon's customer service. I talked to Alltel and they said that there is nothing that they can do. I have read all the storm posts and tried going that route. does anyone have a suggestion for me to get it working right. I would hate to go back to my pearl but if i can't use this one there is no reason to keep it. Thanks

So are you having issues just dialing *228? If you're using a VZW tower, then it will direct you toward VZW. Just don't worry about dialing *228 and manually program your phone.

If that's not the case - what can you not do with your phone?

Well I got it working for the most part. Simple spelling error while programing it. Now the issue is email. It worked fine on my pearl but I can't seem to get anything at all on this one. I had a AllTel.blackberry.com email on the pearl but o can't figure out how to get it on this one. Thanks for the help
