Speakerphone blast problem all of a sudden

As of lately, I have been recently experiencing the speakerphone blast when unholstering the phone to answer a call. Any ideas why?
I have NEVER experienced this until this week, and this is a brand new phone with no 3rd party apps installed. WTF
This is the only OS ever installed on the phone other than the official 4.3, and it is 4.5 official release. I've had the phone for 4 weeks now and it just started doing it this week and does it all the time.

Hate to say it, but that is a 4.5 bug. If you wait a quick second the speaker goes back to normal right?

Same exact thing here, started about a week after I upgraded to Alltel's 4.5. Not sure if it happens on every phone call... But it is annoying.

I did 4.5 on my first berry, and it made me lose all my connections and no matter how many times I reconnected, it wouldn't work. I have my new curve now and I never upgraded back up to 4.5

Not always, and the soultion then is to end the call and call them back.
