I have been having the same issue since late last week. I am on Verizon, though I doubt it has anything to do with the issue.

Default Yahoo Mail+ subsciption Fix it
Hi.

After reading that Post, i looked over Yahoo Premium as suggested by a few poeples. I decided then to try Yahoo Mail+ for $20/yr. It allow your mail to be "Pop & Forward" basicaly.

It been a week since and it fix my slow delevery problem.

I think Yahoo has improved recently.

This issue can actually occur with any web based email service, just so ya know
