Setting up BIS?

Im getting my new-to-me 8830 today and I was wondering what carrier I should set it up under. I have an Alltel plan but its a VZW phone. Im assuming I should set it up as a VZW customer since we are all VZW customers now

Anyone have any input?

So you have an Alltel account or is it a VZW account with an Alltel Plan (converted)?

I was with Alltel and I have an Alltel plan but since the merger everything I do is done through VZW. Also, I purchased a VZW 8830 cuz it was $30 cheaper than the Alltel version.

Ahh ic good... Yeah just call in and have it changed over or do it online.

You would set it up as a Verizon BIS - since it is a VZW device. If you currently have a Blackberry or on a SmartChoice plan, then you should be good to go. No extra costs or anything.
