ever since i've done the *228..

thing to my BB a few days ago, i haven't been able to receive SMS/MMS texts from out of state friends (numbers), but, they're able to receive mine.
i don't get what's going on & i'm new to the BB world - i got my first one about a week ago, so be easy on me. haha.

but, is there anyway i can reset the update i did? or no? any tips appreciated.


EDIT: apparently, from what my friends are telling me, it's not the out of state thing, but alltel users can only receive texts from other alltel users. but, other carriers can receiver ours..

First off your friends are wrong about the text messaging. It doesn't matter what carrier or state the messages come from or go to. You can always call tech support at *611 from a separate phone and see if they can setup your with you.

nope, friends were right. there's a "technical error" and it's undetermined when it's going to be fixed. i went to the store and was told this. thanks though!
