Divested area qutestion

How exactly do you know what area you belong to. I had an a smaller GSM network and service was terrible. Am I part of the divested area? Located in NW Iowa. Zipcode 51250. Any help would be appreciated.

If you look at the webpage below you can see which areas of verizon and alltel are being divested. This may have changed slightly but is mostly correct.

Your zip code indicates you are in Sioux County Iowa, which is listed as a Alltel property that will be/has been sold.

if you go to alltel.com and put in your zip, look at the top and it will have merger info for your area. Looks like you will be going to ATN aka Allied Wireless as they are calling this new venture w/ divested Alltel areas.
