| | countdown to ****... :(
So ya, I'm really not looking forward to the 17th... I got my last bill from alltel today. This really sucks. I have been with alltel now on and off for the past 5 years, love their service. I dunno, I guess this thread is to say goodbye to alltel... Going to miss ya!! :'(

Lol, I've never had Alltel, but if they are merging with VZW then is only going to get much better!

I, too, just paid my last Altell bill...<sniff, sniff>...sort of sad.
Over the past few days, I've watched them working inside the new Verizon Store, putting up the media stuff and installing all the hardware they need to operate.
I wonder if the first day they are open will be a nightmare for both employees and customers, alike?? The parking lot is very small.
I want to go in and see what they have to test out. I'll wait for a few weeks to make any purchases or contracts.

(taps playing in the background)
It's been a good run with Alltel. Can't complain a bit about the past years service or plans or anything. Framing my last statement might be a bit weird, however! lol
Hopefully, I'll feel the same in a few months after being with Verizon.
I am also hoping the Alltel instore reps that are moving to the new store will like working for Verizon, as well. They have been wonderful to me, and wish them a good transition!

I hope you don't intend on using any of verizons features, as long as you have an alltel plan. NOT ALLOWED! If you don't mind losing your 7 pm start times for nights and weekends or unlimited messaging, switch to a verizon plan. |

Don't let store reps fool ya - they will be trying to make as much commission off you.

That's not exactly correct. I was transferred between 3 different cs angents two nights ago when trying to add parental controls to one of my lines. I was told by one of them that I could add it, even though the website wouldn't let me. Then I was transferred to another guy who unsuccessfully tried to add the feature and then I was transferred to a pretty abrasive lady who just tried to get me to convert my plan. Really, I feel like us who still have alltel plans are treated as red haired step children. Every since the merger I have had billing discrepancies. I never had billing issues with alltel. I understand that there were going to be some headaches associated with this merger but, my goodness its been 3 months.

Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com | They probably need to remove the ineligibility block from your features. Some of the features will not be available, but not due to your plan. Things like Visual Voicemail will not be available due to the VM platform not converting over yet.

Im sure you know what your talking about but, i can only go by what the CSR tells me. if it were up to me i would have added it by now. its really frustrating and really makes me want to switch (to another carrier) but the LTE network has my curiosity.

Especially when I have to call in time after time to get one simple problem fixed myself. I know exactly what you mean.
