Default confusion? come here

So I've been seeing a lot of threads lately with all the same general topic and there is a lot of confusion since different ppl are told different things (even employees).

I just want to clear up what I've been told and hopefully it will help with some confusion which is leading to frustration in other threads.

First, each area of the country is transitioning at a different point. So if you ask someone in WI whats happening, it will be different than whats happening in Florida. For the area I'm in, we cannot use vzw phones on alltel and vice versa. Here, to have an alltel phone, you need an alltel plan and vice versa.

If you want to know what plan compares to what you presently have, the best idea is to talk with your own local corporate store. They will be able to tell you where you are at specifically regarding the merger and they should be able to assist you with plans and your current usage. Also, your local store will know what promotions you fall into and can also get you the right information so you make the educated decision that will best suit your needs.

In my experience, the vzw plans are very comparable to alltel plans. Yes, the reality is vzw is more expensive on certain aspects. Vzw also does plans differently, as far as basic/select/connect for plans. So they are bundling in some features which alltel prices out individually.

Im not posting anymore in this thread/section. Only because in my attempts to be helpful, I think its causing more confusion. If anyone wants to PM me, feel free to do so. I just am noticing that between employees and such, its causing more frustration to everyone else and no one is getting the straight answer they want or deserve.

Perhaps the issue was just you speaking down to everyone and so authoritative when you weren't even right.

He/she's not the only alltel employee that posts here that's guilty of that.

So I'm here to answer questions too. Im a dual agent working for Alltel/Verizon and I will answer any questions I can without being a pr*&k. lol. I M me.

Thank you for the positive response. I am very sorry if you felt you were spoken down to. I apologize that I didn't dig further into your questions and really give you the answer you were looking for.

I'm sorry you felt I was wrong. I am correct for the geographic area I am in. This is different than the areas that other employees who post here are in. There is where the miscommunication comes into play. This is why I recommend that people speak with their local store so they receive accurate information pertaining to their situation.
