Ok here's a question

I am in a divested market and my current alltel will be bought out by at&t shortly or should say already done just waiting i guess. Sounds like the end of the year will be completed. I am checking to see what you guys recommend what I shall do. I have tried to look at at&t plans ect. but since they don't have service yet in my area I can't check the prices. 2nd i will need a new phone either way if I switch to at&t or verizon. So does anyone have suggestions if i should change to verizon or wait till at&t is up and running. anyone have the prices that will be with at&t.

When does your contract expire? Which phone are you wanting?

The latest I've heard about ATT completing its takeover of Alltel d/m's is late 2010. It is expected ATT will honor all the d/m contracts.

I'm in a d/m too going to ATT. When my renewal came up recently, I priced ATT's blackberry plans using another area. As far as I could tell, their plans were more expensive than staying another year w/alltel (alltel is no longer offering 2-yr contracts). Verizon's blackberry plans are also more expensive than alltel's. So I renewed my contract.
