Cancelled TeleNav...must I remove the icon?

I downloaded and registered TeleNav on my BB Curve a couple of months ago but I really don't use it so I just called Alltel to remove the charge from my account. The representative said the $10.00 would be removed from the account and all I had to do is remove the icon from the BB. Out of curiosity, what happens if I don't remove the icon from the phone?

You can't remove the icon, best you can do is hide it. I deleted the app some time ago and can't find anyway to delete the icon.

You can remove it by deleting the service book. Menu>Options>Service Books>Delete.

Yeah I guess that would work at least temporarily wouldn't it? Unfortunately each time you did a batt pull it would reappear.
