Can I pay my friends bill?

Long story short, my friends been having some financial difficulties and his altell account was temporarily suspended.

I can't reach him anymore, but I would like to pay his bill.
Can I call altell and just pay or does he need to call them?

I worked with at&t local service before, as long as you can very account information, payment will be accepted.

If you can verify all account information, they will accept your payment and tell you the balance required. If you can't verify account information, they will accept your payment but won't be able to tell you the balance.

At my local alltel store there is a payment kiosk that accepts credit cards, I'm pretty sure all you have to do is put in the phone number of the acct you want to make a payment on.

Can you tell me what informations?
I know just about everything about him, but if they ask me personal information, I don't know and I don't wanna know, it's personal to him and I want it to stay that way

You can also use the automated system line by dialing 800-255-8351 to get his balance. You need to know his zipcode and phone number ot get that. But since it was shut off, it might just redirect you to financial services.

They will take the pmt from you. Just verify his phne # and name and possibly address.

usually the kiosks want at least the last 4 digits of the social...ive used tmo's and at&t's kiosks
