Alltel TV commercials in Cleveland Oh. market

I was wondering how long they will keep the Alltel TV commercials ,
Chad has become part of the family. LOL

Actually their ads run 2 to 1 vs. VZW

Chad was fired, actually. It was in the news. They finally let go a lot of the corp stuff and Chad was one of the cuts.

Anyhow... you'll probably see them until one of two things:

#1. You're converted to Verizon (or ATT, etc)
#2. The rest of the markets convert (VZN/ATT/etc)

It's most likely cheaper to advertise on a whole affiliate, than very specific markets. It's why area's Alltel doesn't have service constantly saw commercials. So until that affiliate, or whatever, stops having commercials paid for by non-divested/divested then you'll see them.

i'm in Clemson, SC and we still get a ton of alltel commercials... of course half of them say "we have merged with Verizon, enjoy the freedom to call 6 million customers and the most reliable 3G network" while the other half are still trying to convince people to sign up for an alltel plan. i have even seen them run back to back before... which makes no sense to me.

Haven't seen any that said we have merged with Verizon just yet.
Just "Super Heros" bring Chad down in front of the others.
At the end they offer the new phones with a One Year contract.

Don't know how long they'll go on but I can't wait for them to stop! I'm in the Cleveland, OH market also and it seems like there are a LOT of Alltel commercials. They drive me crazy.
