I talked to a rep yesterday. She said that until everyone who stayed got new GSM equipment, roaming agreements would let people stay with their CDMA equipment. That probably won't happen til mid-2010 though.
Also, if you say you want to leave now (which I was planning on doing), they'll give you 20% off for a year, which would correspond to the AT&T switchover. The more you know
