Alltel Micro Cell

Thinking about canceling my land line. I could save about $750 a year. Everyone in the house has a blackberry. The service in parts of my house is spotty. Does Alltel offer a micro cell or some kind of booster? Would be interested if anybody else has done this.

Yeah I've seen it work great myself. Check out Solid Signal - Signal Solutions including HDTV Antennas, DIRECTV & DISH Network satellite equipment and home entertainment supplies & accessories for some better prices.

I might have to take a look at this for some friends. I get fantastic reception even in places no one else does. But some friends can't get it in their homes like fantic. Thanks for the tip.

I ordered one for the house. Should have it this weekend. I'll let every one know how it works.

Wow it works. It took me about 3 hours total to install. I now have 5 bars in my basement where didn't have any before. I first walked around my house with my phone and used the signal meter on it. I got -80db on one side which is 5 bars. I had a box on that side that my satilite cables came out of so that helped. I ran the cable in the basement above the drop ceiling. I played with different spots but left it above the drop ceiling in the middle of the basement. Before I had -110db and no bars to -80db and 5bars. The signal drops off to 3 to 4 bars on the main floor. What ever your signal is at the antenna is what you get at the base unit. If you have a crappy signal this won't work for you.
