*228 help

This may be a stupid question, but here goes anyway. I have tried to dial *228 from my Pearl 8130 but the * doesn't dial. I get the "your call can not be completed as dialed..." message. How do you dial *228?

Is the * shared with another character on that key? You may need to use the shift key to get the * in dialing.

It is on the "sym" key. I tried shift. That didn't work either.

are you actually in the call screen or are you on the main home screen? Ive seen some pearls need to actually be in the calling screen to get the * to work right away.

Home sceen. I dial it like I would any other number. Dial and then send.
