Question Enable Direct Inbox...

I've checked the manual, and online, but, I can't figure out what 'Enable Direct Inbox' does.

So, anyone, Bueller?

Also, does this application not support multiple email accounts? I have two email accounts, and yet it only works for my default account.
I even tried to make my secondary account the default, and still it wouldn't send alerts for it.

Weird, no?

Hold on! Are you telling me, we've had 28 views, and no one knows the answer to this?

Rather odd...

I stopped using Aerize for various reasons, but I recall 'Enable Direct Inbox' allowing the program to go directly to the messages inbox by pressing "O".

Thanks for the info. I to just uninstalled it (albeit I paid for it).

I don't think it's for me. I think a few changes need to be made to the application. Like when I delete something from it, it should delete from my 'actual' email account.

Enable Direct Inbox sets whether Alerts will try to switch folders in the Messages app after you hit "Open", which can be handy if you have seperated SMS and Emails.

Alerts will pop up for any incoming BlackBerry e-mails. The exception is if your e-mail is actually coming through another application like Gmail, in which case we can't access it.

Unfortunately we're not provided with any method to delete a message from the server.

Thanks for the info. Another thing I did notice, if I clicked open on an email, sometimes it would open my camera or my media. At first, I thought I was pressing one of my side convienience keys. But nope...

This is a weird issue where keypress events are sometimes sent to the window underneath us even though we're on top. The most bizarre thing is that sometime the keypress is actually changed to a different key than the one you actually hit. Anyway, hoping that this gets fixed in an OS update sometime....
