AutoStandby 2.3.1 and Aerize Alerts 1.2.0 Issue

It is my (perhaps false) understanding that Alerts shoud disable AutoStandby and display the popup window? I have 3rd party interactions enabled and checked Aerize Alerts in the disabling rules, yet Aerize Alerts merely briefly lights up the screen (in standby mode) but doesn't display the popup. I still have to push the mute button to wake the phone in order to see the popup.

What am I missing, or is this a bug?

I'm having the opposite problem. I use a program called EasyStandBy to automatically put my phone into standby mode 30s after the screen goes dark. When I get a message alert from Aerize, it takes the phone out of standby mode. However the phone does not go back into standby mode even after the alert disappears (I set auto-dismiss to 60s).

Zaventh informs us this should be fixed in the latest version of AutoStandby.
