I tried the card loader and almost every time I unloaded an application it also required a reset of my 8820.
Since resets are VERY time consuming, this is an impossible situation.
Can resets be avoided?

If the application being loaded/unloaded:

• Uses a listener
• Is auto-start
• Uses persistent storage or backup/restore features
• Is running/listening for connections

Then a reset will be necessary, just as is the case when loading from the BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
