Default Aerize Alerts - 'open' option...

Morning all -

For some reason, when I choose 'open' after receiving an email notification (alert), it, being Aerize Alert, doesn't open the email itself. It just takes me to the 'messages' folder...

Shouldn't it be opening said email, rather than taking me to the messages folder?

I'm pretty sure this has something to do with Aerize's inability to grant such access due to the restrictions that are put in place by RIM.

Maybe it's me, but I could have sworn last week that it was working...

Maybe my old age is kicking in.

sgillen - maybe you're right. I'm running .237 on my BOLD. Then again, I've been running this for a while.

Weird...

We can't progammatically open a specific message in the inbox -- well, not in a way that would actually work.

I've been using PeekaWho since since day one and up until recent versions, it opened the exact message/sms that displayed on the popup. Not sure why it changed, but it was obviously doable. Yesterday I switched to Aerize for various reasons and now see that "open" doesn't take you to the message either.
