Default Shieldzone Full Body InvisibleShield For Blackberry Bold 9000

I recently purchased the invisibleShield for my Bold. I hate having tons of fingerprints all over the phone and don't want my screen getting scratched. I've found this to be perfect for my BB. As soon as I recieved my invisibleShield I immediately opened the packaged an got to work putting in on my bold. The package comes in a nice box which includes exact cut pieces for the screen, main buttons(call/pwoer buttons, back and menu buttons)the lower half of the phone(where the logo is), a piece that cover the entire back, and smaller pieces to go along the sides and won't interfere with the side buttons. Also included is the applying spray and a small squeege for applying the screens. Applying took about ten minutes. All I had to do was simply use the spray on my finger to keep fingerprints off the skins, lightly spray the skins and slide them into place. I used as small cloth to wipe away any extra spray and did not do anything that would have an liquid damage to my Bold. The larger pieces(screen, back) where very easy to put on, however the side pieces where a little bit harder due to their size. All in all pretty easy to install and looks fantastic. Any bubbles on the screen actually go away in a day or two and you really can't tell there's anything on your phone. Looks great, keeps my Bold from getting any finerprints or scratches on it and gives a bit better grip on the phone. The skins are tough and won't be coming off my phone anytime soon so it will last for a long time and won't have to be replaced. And with a lifetime warrenty/replacement, you can't lose. All in all a great product and worth the investement.

Exclamation

I don't know who paid you to put this review up man... but it's hardly that good.

I admit, the SCREEN PROTECTOR part of it is great. However, the rest of body kit is horrible!

All of the pieces are not very preciesely cut, so they don't actually fit over the entire main buttons at the top, just a portion of them... and after just a day or two, the edges of the plastic on those buttons start to get dust stuck to the glue and begin to look absolutely horrid. The screen for the back cover is even worse, it doesn't stick quite so well to the fake leather texture and looks anything but invisible, with huge air pockets everywhere due to the texture. On the sides and bottom, it's just small little pieces of plastic, with huge spaces in between to leave room for the buttons etc.

So like I said, the SCREEN part is EXCELLENT the rest of the body shield is absolute trash, and I would never recommend it and especially not for that price.

I have e-mailed ZAGG requesting a refund for the body shield portion, and we will see how they respond to that.

To all future shoppers, do not get the body shield.... only get the screen protector, it's the only part that's actually close to being invisible and worth any money at all.

Hope this helps!

P.S. One more disappointing thing about the body shield is that it doesn't really protect all of the BlackBerry, and leaves many gaps all over the place (plus leaves the shiny silver border completely exposed) so it doesn't really protect that much of the Bold at all, I really see no point to it at all.

Get the screen ONLY!

nice review, thank you for taking the time to post it. dont worry about other comments that have been made. if they didnt like the product they should have posted their own review instead of trying to slam yours.

I'm upset with the fact that it didn't come with a protective skin for the chrome part! The most easily noticeable place for scratches. I'm waiting to call them to ask them to send me the pieces, either that, or to change from "FULL BODY" to "SOMEWHAT PROTECTED BODY" because that's just false advertisement :P

I like the IS, but I wound up taking the shield off of the back. I didn't like the "feel" of the plastic, I like the way the leather (pleather?) feels in your hand. But I didn't have any problems with the installation, it went on great. I would just go for the screen protector if I did it again. First time I've been able to get a screen protector on a device without SOMETHING being wrong, bubble, fingerprint, etc.

A bunch of mixed reviews on this product. I will probably avoid it.

yeah, I am not sure either. I really need to get something to protect my BOLD but now I am so lost as to what to get. There are just so many reviews in both directions. Plus, some of them are pricey, so I don't want to pay a lot of money for something I hate.

I just purchased the invisible shield for my 8330 after talking with a co worker that had gotten his wrapped about a week earlier. I made it a point to literally ask him every day how he liked it and handle the phone itself and check for defects. So yesterday I went to the mall with my roommate and had the girl there apply the full body shield to my phone and the screen only to my roommates Storm, didn't put it in the sheath or pockets for the rest of the night as instructed, she gave me a little microfiber bag to carry it in. The next day I abused the living day lights out of the shielding. It was in and out of my jean pockets all day, I rubbed at the shielding to see if it would move, and did the whole key test on it. I'm not sure what you expect out of a product like this, but I got exactly what I wanted...a little sumn sumn to protect a good part of a phone that I already baby as it is. I recommend this product, and I also recommend you have it installed for you...seriously...spend 10 bucks and avoid the hassle and nightmare of doing it yourself.
