Just finishing up a whole weekend without recharging using my great Seidio battery.

That's the battery where I don't care so much what the mah is because it actually lasts a whole lot longer than the OEM battery.

Because I and others here rely on actual performance instead of hearsay, we end up with a great battery!

Life is good

^^^ Keep backing away from your ridiculous claim. Maybe you should go back and edit your post to try and save face?

Ah, my ridiculous claim... the one where I pointed out that you actually have no idea what you're talking about? I think I'll stick to that claim.

48 hours since last recharge and still going strong with 35% battery life left on the great Seidio!

I've got a better idea - you buy the batteries and get your buddy to run the test since you seem to have a lot invested in Seidio being a ripoff. For me, I know the Seidio is a great battery.

Going strong since 5pm Friday and still have 51% left - that's 65 hours in case you're having trouble with the math.

kobayashi and wpwoodjr, you two are sounding like a couple of school yard bullies, each determined to get the last word in. Please, grow up. If wpwood is getting significantly better life out of his Seidio battery, then terrific. Each reader can decide for him/herself if they wish to go that way or not. I've done a lot of research on the various batteries and results seem to be all over the map. The bottom line is, not how well the battery does--or does not--do in the lab, but how well it performs in real life, in your phone. Period. Remember that actual results will always vary, even from user to user. Just like the EPA's gas mileage numbers on new cars are simply "averages" and "suggested mileage" and they all come with the warning "actual results may vary." The numbers are a guide, period.

kobayoshi, if you prefer to go by the tests in the thread you posted, then great, go by the test results. But please, both of you are killing this thread and irritating the **** out of everyone else here. Grow up and move on, we're sick of it. My 8 year old grandson is more mature.

Great. Another wannabe-moderator.

Funny how wpwoodjr claimed that the Seidio battery was rated exactly right based on mAh but ran and hid as soon as that claim was disputed. My bet still stands.

Does anybody but YOU really CARE about your "bet?" I doubt it. As for being a "wannabe moderator" another complete untruth, I am however, guilty of pointing out the obvious. If you seriously think you're either a. going to win this debate or, b. actually going to influence anyone's decision on battery choice, you really are delusional.

LOL...obviously, something you lack. If you believe every "Fact" that comes out, you're in a sad state of affairs. That being said, I'm done here, I came to learn a bit about the battery and unfortunately, ran across your tiring posts. Save your response, I refuse to go back and forth with you like wp did.... you can't win with 12 year olds!

^^^ You're right. It's much smarter to believe a company's marketing pitch than real, independent testing. Please send me $100 and I'll send you a 1,000,000mAh battery for your 9550. Trust me on that rating.

I want an extended battery but I can't find a case that will fit for the phone I want. I've been debating in my head should I chance going without a case. As I read through this thread I was riding high on the prospects of increased battery life until the daunting reminder of the risk of going without protection.

This thread was full of drama, suspense and surprise plot twist. Thanks to the OP for posting it.
