Hello everyone in Crackberry land! This is Chris here, and as promised in my previous review (http://forums.crackberry.com/f120/se...-8330-a-95433/) here is my review of the Seidio rubberized holster for skinned Curve 8330's.

Once again, with the Seidio extended battery, I didn't have a ton of options when it came to cases, and I wanted something that would hold my phone securely on my waist. Luckily, I saw this sold as a combo pack with the Seidio soft touch case, so I figured I should snag one up.

Unboxing: Again, Seidio takes the minimal approach with packaging. The holster comes in a simple clear clamshell box, with a cardboard insert. Less to throw away, keeps the cost down.

Installation:Not much to say here really. Place the bottom of the phone into the bottom of the holster and rock the top of the phone into the clip. Removal is as easy as lifting the clip with your index finger and letting the phone slip into your hand.

Impressions:I was actually surprised how good the quality is with this holster! Everyone remarked as to how thin the plastic is, but MAN is it good quality plastic! I'm sure that it can take being on my belt for a few years with NO problems . The Clip itself has a nice, firm, ratcheting system that lets you rotate it into your preferred position without worrying about it loosening up on you. The holster's inside has a nice soft felt lining, but it don't even need it. When the phone is clipped into the holster, there is a tiny gap between the screen and the holster, which I like because I don't need to worry about a dust particle being smushed into my screen by the holster. Because the case is made for Blackberry, there is a magnet built in somewhere that activates the sleeper function. Lastly, the phone WILL NOT MOVE AT ALL when clipped in. It sits snugly in the holster with no play whatsoever.

Final verdict:This holster gets two thumbs form me and I recommend it to anyone who wants a quality holster for their skinned phone.

Pros:Strong plastic, tight ratcheting belt clip, strong spring-action clip to hold phone in place, sleeper magnet, access to all your buttons and ports.

Cons:Tiny area on both sides of screen isn't covered by the back of the holster, possible to accidentally hit the clip and release the phone, but very unlikely, shirt may dangle into holster when phone isn't in it (so be careful when you put it back in).

I will post a review for the Seidio extended battery in a few days, after I've had a chance to really test it out. Stay tuned!

I am thinking about buying this holster how does it fit on your belt I wear a nylon rescue belt for the fire department and the body glove case and belt clip would not fit on my belt
