Received my Otterbox Commuter REVIEW
Received my commuter case a few days ago and totally satisfied with it. With the silicone and hard case on it will still slide into the OEM leather case. I know some people were worried about not having a belt clip or having to go to a 9000 leather case but there no need to.
Picture of back of phone turned out good on a white sheet but front pictures suck. The case does totally cover the chrome bezel so now you will have a solid black phone but it will be a safe phone. The tabs on the left side by Phone charger can get annoying. They are flexible as to cover the usb plug and "Kinda" snap back into place.

Does the raised edge on the sides of the Otterbox make it more difficult to type on the outer keys?

I have had no problems typing at all. The phone does feel bulkier of course but thats the intention.

Oh it fits but VERY snug. There's no way I'd use the OEM 9700 case day to day with the Commuter on mine. I just put it in my pocket now since I feel better knowing it's protecting most of the phone.
As far as typing I can also verify that the edges of the case around the keyboard do not hinder typing ability whatsoever. - 12-31-2009, 12:29 PM
