Default Blackberry Bold OEM Silicone Skins / Cases by Kent!

Well, I’m going to follow the suggested review format as recommended by Kevin!
Well, my name is Kent. I live in Europe (Madrid, Spain) so if any Europeans wanna chat, you know who to hit up hehe. I have had almost every blackberry made (starting from the 8100, 8300, 8310, 8800, 9500 and 9000) and I’ve always looked for the best screen protector, body skin and even hard case skin. I’ve always had an invisibleShield installed, I like it, hehe. But then I decided that I drop my phone too much, and the IS doesn’t protect against drops. Here I am with two OEM Blackberry silicone skins.

Well, it was super easy to put on. With a pull and a tug we’re all set to go. I thought at first that it made it a little fat, but I actually like that it adds a little thickness to it. Not to mention that it’s OEM! I honestly think that the best protectors are made by the company. They designed the phone, they’ll have all the best and top measurements for their device. I chose the blue and white (clearish) skins. The white one is NICE.

All the ports are well cut out. The cut outs for the camera are just a tad bit bigger than maybe they could have made them. As you can see, there is a little black leather on the back side. There are 4 cut outs for the speakers. One at the top, to the right and to the left while the other one is at the bottom opposite of the mic. The mute/standby/sleep button is covered with the silicone, which is in my opinion better. That way no dust enters. The two convenience keys are also covered (The left and right) but still very usable, so no complaints there. There is also a cut out (1/2 cut out to be exact) for the LED light. It looks nice.

The silicone covers absolutely ALL the chrome (which is what I wanted from the IS, but since it wasn’t an option as they didn’t opt to cover ALL The chrome, I looked into more cases). So now I KNOW my phone will not scratch.

Pocketing it? Well, it’s just a little bit thicker than without the skin. Lint? Who said anything about lint? Ha! Just kidding! The BLUE is a LINT MAGNET! Stay AWAY if you like CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN Skins. The white one on the other hand is relatively good with the lint. It also catches my inside pocket sometimes.

Pros: Protected phone, looks good, white one doesn’t catch as much lint (or at least not as visible), cheap $9.95, stylish and covers the chrome. Also, may different colors!
Cons: Some of the colors catch a lot of lint, it sticks to your pockets and makes all your contents within them fall out.

Conclusion: I like it, I have it, and I’d recommend it for those who want some stylish protection. But it's not the BEST case out there, but it will certainly suffice the insatiable thirst for many out there. BUY HERE!
