Tell us the features you would use most on your Dream BlackBerry -

The dream features that I would use the most on a dream BlackBerry would be WIFI. If I had a blackberry that was wifi I would use it constantly. My home is wifi, my office is wifi and the whole campus where I work is wifi, so wifi is the feature I would use the most on my dream BlackBerry. I do not travel on my job so 95% of the time, I'm in one of the three areas. My current Blackberry does not have wifi and this is why having a Blackberry with wifi would be the ultimate for me.

Default Dream BlackBerry

BlackBerry Curve is my dream BB. I wish Verizon would offer it - I'm finding it hard to get used to the 8830's keyboard. The keys are slippery and inadequately backlit. Hard to see the keys, even with the backlight on!

So many things are promised for this new 9000 BlackBerry device. But, I think having FULL internet use, like the iPhone would seal the deal for me...

My dream BlackBerry is actually the one that impressed me so much that I had to convert (former Dash and SK2 user). BlackBerrys always seemed so "corporate world" (read: boring) to me, so I couldn't understand the obsession with them...until the Curve. The Curve is definitely more "average Joe-friendly" (i.e. games, greater ability to customize...just plain fun!) without losing any of its corporate world functionality. I guess the same could be said of the Pearl, but the Curve is definitely more my speed...

The screen size of the 8830 in the size of the curve with the camera. This would make me happy.

Thumbs up

If I could have any feature I wanted for CrackBerry, I would like to have Outlook work better with my BlackBerry via BIS. I would like subfolder replication, online calendar replication, etc. I'm run a small business and I cannot afford an Exchange Server, so I don't get to use BES.

P.S. Keep up the great work. CrackBerry is a cool place to hang out

Default Dream phone eh?

I would have to say that I love my 8700g right now, but the Curve is really nice. I love the keyboard on it, the trackball is genius in my mind. Not having to move your hands from the keyboard is a great idea. I love every ounce of it.

Default My Dream device

I currently do not use a Blackberry for the same reason I do not use Win Mo Std. No Asian language support. I mean no input support. I need to use English, Korean and Chinese. I use a Win Mo Pro device for this reason alone. I would love to go Blackberry for real push email and device stability but until they can provide a device that let's me use mulitple languages at the same time Im stuck with WM.

So here it is, my dream device:
- A real world phone. Unlocked GSM and CDMA that can be used in the US and Korea/Japan. If a manufacturer would make a device that could work on any network people would buy it. Trust me that is our biggest complaint where I work. We have to carry 3 devices for world travel. C'mon RIM be my hero before HTC beats you to it!
- 3G of course
- WiFi
- lots of 3rd party programs to support it. Let's face it all PIM that comes on our devices are pretty weak.

Like I said I dont use a BB but Im gonna browse your site and educate myself. If anyone has any tips for me it would be greatly appreciated. Someone convert me!!!!!!

Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
