One day while in the warehouse I tripped over a box and fell. A few of the surrounding co-workers rushed to see if I was ok and all I could think about was, "is my blackberry ok".

Default Best way to avoid blackberry addiction

Lock you're blackberry in a safe, make sure someone else puts a code on it so you don't know it. You will be cool after a few days of trying to crack the code.

At this point you either go and buy a new one or you need medication. lol

I'm a newbie, so I am pacing myself, hopeing that I won't get hooked. I can already feel the need to keep it with me at all times.

I'm seriously addicted! I love the Navigator and being able to check my email accounts, tasks, calendar and files from work. Keeps me current with my network. Now if I could only find a way to penetrate my own systems from Starbucks. Simply heaven!

I can't help but use it. I've tried to turn it off at night to let it "rest", but I find myself waking up at odd hours just to power it on and light up the room again.
